(In fact, I wrote about it in my new book.) I admire you for thinking about this, because I think all adoptive parents owe it to their kids to consider stuff like this. It's a reality. It's one of the things that's different about being an adoptive family. Not less, not inferior, but different. Sometimes when I look at my daughter I wonder the same thing.
